To use the free map generation services you will need to download one of the packages described below.
Logger Plug-InThe Karto Logger Plug-In enables a robot to log sensor data to a file which can then be uploaded to a Karto map generation server. This allows you to test your robot sensor capabilities for mapping.
The Logger Plug-In is available for both the Microsoft Robotics Studio and Player/Stage environments.
Thin-Client Mapper LibraryThe Karto Thin-Client Mapping library provides an API for integrating map generation into a custom robot control application.
Currently the Thin-Client Mapping library is only available for the Player/Stage environment.
